Bitdefender is constantly improving its solutions to offer better protection, performance and usability. The latest upgrade of the Bitdefender Control Center cloud-hosted console, brings important product updates: GravityZone Ultra 2.0 (improved version), Patch Management for the Cloud solution and new version of Process Inspector.
GRAVITYZONE ULTRA 2.0
GravityZone Ultra 2.0 integrates Bitdefender’s layered next-gen endpoint protection with the EDR platform to accurately protect enterprises against even the most elusive cyber threats. It offers prevention, detection, investigation, automatic response, clear visibility into suspicious activities and one-click resolution capabilities, enabling enterprise customers to protect their digital assets.
Unlike other solutions, GravityZone Ultra is built from the ground up as a unified solution, with prevention, detection and response mechanisms built into a single agent, managed from a single console. GravityZone Ultra is a bundle product, available for Cloud console customers.
PATCH MANAGEMENT FOR THE CLOUD SOLUTION
The Patch Management module, which has been available on premise so far, will be available also to customers using the cloud console after the March 26th update. It will enable your customers to keep systems up to date across their entire Windows install base. Fully integrated in the GravityZone console, the Patch Management module represents a single source of patches and provides the largest collection of software applications in the market.
After introducing the license key, the Patch Management Module will become available under the Policy / Reports / Network Inventory. The new module becomes active after introducing the new license key as an add-on to the customer’s endpoint solution.
We will inform all Bitdefender cloud customers about this release, so please be prepared to accommodate requests and questions on this topic. Prices for the cloud version are the same as those for the on premise version.
NEW VERSION OF PROCESS INSPECTOR
Process Inspector, Bitdefender’s behavior anomaly detection technology that continuously monitors running processes to protect against threats during on-execution stage, has reached a new level. It brings more efficient prevention, better detection of script-based and PowerShell attacks, improved efficacy, and augmentation of clean-up capabilities. All GravityZone customers can now enjoy the new version of the technology with no extra charge.
SUPPORT INFORMATION
No user action is required for this update, but the GravityZone cloud console will be unavailable while the update is applied, on March 26th between 05.00 – 08.00 AM GMT. Endpoint protection will not be affected in any way during this interval and you and your customers will face no security risk.
